Prayer
Perhaps the most important form of support for the school is through prayer, for our school families, our faculty and staff, and for God’s guidance and protection. We have seen Him do wonderful things in individual lives and in the life of the school in answer to prayer. We are so thankful for the faithful who have prayed for Salem and who continue to do so. The Moms In Touch prayer group of parents meets weekly to pray for specific needs and individuals. Please call the school office for scheduled prayer times.
Volunteer
There are many opportunities for volunteer support throughout the year. These opportunities are regularly made known through newsletters, e-mail, notes to home, or phone calls. Salem views its role as a working partnership with parents in the raising of children in a manner pleasing to God. Therefore volunteers play an important role in school life.
Financial
Salem Christian School would not continue to exist without the financial support of both individuals and businesses. The school is financed by tuition and gifts. Tuition approximates faculty salaries and basic operational expenses. Gifts and various fund-raising efforts provide the balance of the budget needed to provide excellence in the classroom, in the science and computer labs, on the athletic field, and on the stage.
Why Give?
We believe that Christian education pays both immediate and eternal dividends. Here is the way one school parent summed up their experience at Salem:
“Salem Christian School has been a blessing to my entire family. Men and women who serve in this ministry have had a profound impact on my family. When I think of the positive influence the school has had in forming my children’s Christian worldview, I know that it was significant. The school has been a very important part of my children’s academic and spiritual development. We will continue to support the school in any way we can, but especially through prayer.”
We realize that parents, students, alumni, and friends are vital to the ongoing support and success of our school. We greatly value your association with our ministry and appreciate your prayers and your gifts, regardless of amount, as every gift makes a difference. The enthusiastic support from our families, faculty and staff, and friends from around the country demonstrate their commitment in a meaningful and tangible way. There are several ways to support the school.
